Hey Ian...I've been looking for The Soul Brotherhood for some time... thanks for this...it's as good as I hoped it would be...anyone who loves soul-jazz organ bands not to mention Grant Green needs to listen to Soul Brotherhood...I've had the other 2 for a while now and they are both very nice as well Reelin with Melvin Sparks on guitar especially...
Excellent taste, Ian. Charles Kynard carved out a stylistic territory in organ jazz completely his own. A man of his time, clearly. But, he did it to the fullest. Once you are this deep into organ players you have crossed the point of no return.
